The US Occupational Safety and Health Administration advises keeping floors and walking surfaces safe. According to OSHA (29 CFR 1910.22), "All places of employment, passageways, storerooms, and service rooms shall be kept clean and orderly and in a sanitary condition."

WHAT CAN YOU DO? If something is creating a potential slip, trip, or fall hazard fix it (clean it up - move it) Place signs to warn others of the potential hazard If you can not fix it - Place a work order so that you facility manager is aware of the problem
Notify Supervisor Employees should immediately report all work related injuries to their supervisor State law requires that injuries should be reported in writing within a limited number of days (varies by state) Place a work order or use the Report of Unsafe Conditions form to get the problem fixed
