Talent 21 Acid Rain Experiment Your Name: Dominick Ciro Group Members: Kenny and Jay Period: 5th

Ask a Question  During this lab we… Had a control group. We watered are plant with unpolluted water. We had no real progress.  What we wanted to find out… What is the effect when acid rain is poured and tried out on a plant.

Control vs. Variable State your hypothesis  In this slide you are to write whether your group was a control group or an experimental group. My Group was a Control group.  State your hypothesis: My hypothesis was that my plant would grow because are water was unpolluted.

Data  Insert Chart:  Insert Graph: DateDry Wt.Wet Wt. Differen ceHeight 4/17/ /18/ /20/ /23/ /25/ /29/

Data Interpretation  What happened during your experiment?: what happened during my experiment is the plant did not grow at all.  Think about: What could have affected your data : The seed was a bad one and there should have been 3 or more seeds. I think It got enough water and sunlight. Explain your graph- My Graph was very weird. It seemed to grow in weight in the beginning but at the end it stayed the same. The difference gets Lower toward the end. The Height gets taller toward the end. The graph is important because it shows important info about what happened during the process.

State your Conclusion  My hypothesis that stated was correct. I think this happened because the seed was not a bad seed and got enough  What was something you learned from this experiment? I learned that acid rain has a big effect on plants not growing.  How would you alter this experiment for future use? I would put a few more seeds in just in case I get a bad one. Put a lot of water and sunlight in it.
