Overlapping Overlapping is attending to two or more events at the same time. Working multiple stations or groups. Students tend to stay on task.

Transitions Smoothness and effectiveness. Focusing on key points. Time management. Well-established routines. Consistent signals.

Group Alerting The ability to keep groups focused on the task. Maximizes active participation and keeps students engaged in learning. Holding students be accountable. Check for understanding. Call on students randomly.

Satiation Maintaining Interest and Involvement. Providing students with a feeling of progress. Offering students challenges throughout the lesson. Being enthusiastic. Using a variety of teaching styles.
