Mitosis Prophase  chromosomes condense  spindle starts to form  nuclear envelope disappears

Mitosis Metaphase  chromosomes line up along the center  Spindle fibers connect to chromosomes

Mitosis Anaphase  Sister chromatids separate and move to opposite ends of the cell
