Common Good City Farm Personal Vermiculture System

Common Good City Farm Vermiculture I have Eisenia Hortensis or in Europe, Dendrobena Veneta What they need in my experience -Water (not wet or soaking) -Carbon (bedding, newspaper) -Nitrogen (leaves/veggies) -Oxygen (air) -Soil -A safe, dark place (aerated bin) -Around °F (I have kept them ~25-110° F)

Soil + food waste + worms + newspaper = worm mix Common Good City Farm

Finished worm castings Common Good City Farm

Step 1. Compost soil and food waste (may need to add water) Common Good City Farm

Step 2. Add shredded paper to aerated bin Common Good City Farm

Step 3. Add food waste to aerated bin Common Good City Farm

Step 4. Add sifted aged “worm mix” to aerated bin Common Good City Farm

Step 5….. Repeat and top with paper and water Common Good City Farm
