Welcome Introductions Project Updates – Mentor District Webinar May 10 am – Allocations – Budget Planning Fiscal Year – 4 th quarter reimbursement due June 30 th – Reminder to submit consultant documentation to us (activity report)

5 Year Plan We began discussing this at the last regional meeting where you began inputting data online; every district must complete a yearly plan Each district has a manila folder with their district name on it that includes: *3 copies of Quick Tips on how to enter activities in the 5 year plan *3 copies of what your district has submitted online to date for the and school years

5 Year Plan-Next Steps When you leave, review the activities that have been entered so far as a district team By June 30 th, each district should have submitted their activities online for the and school years The annual summary (narrative section) should also be completed for each goal as part of the plan which should highlight achievements, changes, and next steps We will be contacting you after SPDG Day to determine if there are any questions

SAVE THE DATES June 16, 2014 Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) at Work by Solution Tree Each team will gain a big-picture view of the PLC process and how to customize it to meet individual needs. The session will provide skills on how to create and maintain an effective collaborative culture. June 27, 2014 Family Engagement Anne Henderson, author of Beyond the Bake Sale Each team will go through a process to revamp their family engagement initiative to ensure that events are high impact and linked to student learning. -Both events will be held at First Baptist Church in downtown Baton Rouge -Lunch will be provided; all day session -CLU’s will be given (contingent upon your employing school system) -A team of 3-5 participants (including an administrator) -An with registration links will be sent out next week
