a) Travelers could trade valuable resources such as food, gold, spices, cloth, tea, nuts, and other goods from one continent to another b) They could cross various roads to with other countries, cities and continents c) They could travel by land (camels or by foot) and they could travel by sea to trade goods d) Each continent has influenced the Arabian culture and society and vice versa, Arabia has influenced Africa and Asia too.

The Arabian Peninsula lies near the intersection of three continents, so it is called a “crossroads” location. –Africa –Asia –Europe Arabia’s location has shaped its physical features.

10. Souk 10. a market or bazaar “sooook” -nomads traded animal products, and desert herbs for cooking supplies and clothing; spices, gold, leather
