Daily 5 Advantages  Students  Engage in the act of reading and writing for extended periods of time.  Receive focused instruction on building and maintaining independence  Receive differentiated instruction to meet their individual needs.  Allows students to use multiple forms of technology on a daily basis.

Daily 5 Advantages  Teacher  Deliver 3 whole group lessons.  Teach 3 small groups of students  Confer with 6-9 individual students.  Holds students accountable for eyes on text.  Independent reading practice.  Encompasses multiple students using multiple forms of technology at the same time.
