John 15 v 8-17

 He is the Friend of Sinners  He is the Friend of Saints  He is the Friend of the Lonely  He is the Friend of the Sorrowful

 Jesus is the friend of the Depressed and Discouraged  Isa 41:10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.   13 For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee. 

This friendship is Declared You are my friends v 14 This friendship is Defined If you do whatever I command you v14

 This friendship is Determined  John 15:16  You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you. 

 This friendship is Demonstrated John 15:13  Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends.

The Conditions for this Friendship John 15:14 You are My friends if you do whatever I command you.
