1 The Source of Our Strength
Personal Giftedness: The Source of Our Strength John 15:1-17

2 So, what’s holding us back?
We know we are skilled by God. We know we are assigned by God. How do we bear fruit in Jesus’ name?

3 We must first abide in Jesus
John 15: "I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. "Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit, He prunes it so that it may bear more fruit….Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me.

4 So Jesus said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in yourselves. "He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day. "For My flesh is true food, and My blood is true drink. "He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him.” John 6:53-56

5 Cut Off From The Vine John 15:6 --"If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown away as a branch and dries up; and they gather them, and cast them into the fire and they are burned. Branches wither Are gathered Are burned

6 Love, Commandments and Power
John 15: "If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. "My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples. "Just as the Father has loved Me, I have also loved you; abide in My love. "If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love; just as I have kept My Father's commandments and abide in His love. "These things I have spoken to you so that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full.

7 God loves. Jesus loves. If we keep His commandments we remain in His love. The greatest command is to love God. The second greatest is to love our neighbors. We are chosen and appointed to bear fruit. If we ask God, He will empower us to bear much fruit to the glory of His name.
