There are many famous archaeological artifacs in Spain, Many of them in the National Archaelogical museum in Madrid. We are going to talk about the Iberian art which was the stile of art that people used on the Mediterranean coast of the Iberian Peninsula before the arrival of the Roman Empire. One of the most famous works of Iberian art is the Lady of Elche. (Alicante) This remarkable bust in the remains of a full lenth esculture which was broken up in antiquity. It represents a female priest making an offering herself to the gods.

In my opinion the most important characters in the history of Spain is Miguel de Cervantes who was a Spanish novelist, poet and playwriter. He was born in Alcalá de Henares, and died on April 23rd in1616. His most famous book is Don Quijote, is considered the first modern novel, a classic of western literature, and regarded Spanish language has been so great that this language is often called “La lengua de Cervantes” ( the language of Cervantes).
