How do Changes in their environment affect organisms? Animals and plants basically adapt to daily and seasonal changes to survive in their environment and habitat.

Cactus... This cactus opens its flowers at night. They are adapted to leave in the desert without losing water.

Seasonal Changes... Hibernation – When some animals eat a lot in autumn and sleep through the winter. e.g. Hedgehogs and Bears

Seasonal Changes... Migration – When birds sometimes fly away during the winter and go to warmer places where there is more food. e.g swallows
