Purpose The Upward Bound (UB) program helps students representing a range of social and economic diversity as well first generation high school students prepare for college. The Upward Bound (UB) program helps students representing a range of social and economic diversity as well first generation high school students prepare for college.

Goal Upward Bound works to increase the rates at which participants graduate from post- secondary institutions.

Objectives Objective 1. Raise awareness, attainment, and aspirations to higher education. Objective 2. Make efficient use of Social Media to strengthen outreach efforts.

Objectives Objective 3. Develop guidance counselor and school staff expectations and awareness. Objective 4. Build parent engagement, aspirations, and expectations.
