 The Sun is known as a G2V star. It is the largest star located in the CENTER of our Solar System.  Believe it or not the sun is not a perfect sphere. Many ridges are located on the Sun’s outer core.  Temperature = Around 10,000°F at the surface and at the core it rises to about 27,000,000°F!!  The Sun has no moons because it is a star.  A full day rotation is 26.8 days.  The sun does not have a full year rotation.  The diameter of the Sun is 1,390,000 KM
