After the Great War

United States The United States would be the ONLY country to enjoy economic prosperity after WWI. The people would live extravagant lifestyles where they spent a lot of money on luxuries and having a good time. This time period is known as the Roaring 20’s.

Not So Good in Europe Europe was trying to recover and rebuild after the Great War. Allied countries were in debt to the U.S., millions were dead, farms, towns, factories, and forests were destroyed. Conditions In Germany ANGER: The people of Germany were angry about the Treaty of Versailles and had a deep resentment for it. It bothered them, because they were solely blamed for the war and were not allowed to attend the negotiations. They were humiliated!
