Presentation transcript:

 That just 5 or 6 years ago in the middle of the summer my cousins were leaving Michigan to go live in Georgia. I never knew I would not see them again until 2 years later or I would have gone with them

 I was in my cousins Maddies room watching 'How the Grinch Stole Christmas'. I remember when I watched that movie and I would not close my eyes for makeup. She was putting makeup on me and talking about how she will miss me so much I said I would too and after that we joined the going away party.

 At the end of the party I found my makeup running down my face I thought it was raining but I was crying so hard I said my good byes and hugged everyone ten times. I was sooooooooo sad! I waved goodbye as they pulled out the driveway.

 I went back inside there house and on my cousins old bed was a note and 2 packages. I went and I opened the note and it said “Katie here is some gift we wanted to give you we love you and don’t forget to visit us Love Liz & Maddie”

 I opened the first package and inside was a necklace that said Liz and a bracelet that said Maddie. I almost started crying again but I thought to myself STOP it’s a gift not something to cry about..

 The next one was a picture of all of us smiling at the camera. I smiled back at them remembering that day in the museum having a picnic and we took a photo to remember the moment. From that moment on I wished I could of got How the Grinch stole Christmas from them.
