In transforming Industry from current technology to Green Technology, this project has focused on these strategic initiatives:-  Promotion, awareness & knowledge  Capacity building including Training of Trainers  Coaching session and advisory  Green label certification  Marketing  Business Matching With these initial actions, the transformation process will progress effectively. Objectives  To assist local companies in producing green products and services.  To transform local companies including SMEs in implementing green technology applications and green practices. Project Fund: RM 834, Duration: 01/01/2013 – 31/12/2013 Expected Outcomes  To organize 10 events of seminar, workshop, conference or exhibition by 31 Dec 2013  To assist 10 companies in getting green label certification by 31 Dec 2013  To develop one training module for Industry & SMEs and organize 2 training sessions by 31 Dec 2013  To organize 3 events of business matching, forum or technical visit Status  Organized 12 events of seminars and workshops  Identified 89 GreenTAG companies as potential candidates  Developed two training modules and organized 2 training sessions  Korea business matching event will take place on 20 th Nov

Copyright Reserved GreenTech Malaysia PROJECT: INDUSTRY & SMEs DEVELOPMENT REPORTING PERIOD: 01/10/2013 – 31/10/ Activities Completed (During reporting period)  Organized GreenTAG Coaching Session for Eco Label Certification in Penang on 1 st Oct 2013 together with SIRIM and UNIDO.  Finalised the module of Introduction on Green Technology for SMEs together with KeTTHA  Attended the National Standard Compliance Programme Lab organized by Standard Malaysia.  Conducted major stakeholders consultation on the GreenTAG 2+1 years Coaching Programme for SMEs especially on training modules and other relevant existing programme with UNIDO and SCP Team  Participated in IGEM in promoting the projects and also organized the Business Opportunity Forum on 7 th October in Mandarin Oriental Hotel, KL.  Discussed with PHTJ Melaka on organizing SME awareness in Melaka % completed:  10 events (100%)  10 companies get green label certification (10%)  One Module & 2 training (100%)  3 business matching/forum/visit (20%) % funds utilised: % (yet to from Finance) Activities Planned (For next reporting period)  To organized business matching program with Korea’s companies in Kuala Lumpur on 20 th Nov 2013  To organize GreenTAG Coaching Session for Eco Label Certification in Johor on 21 st Nov 2013  To initiate the training of Green Management System and Green Entrepeneur with USM for SMEs  To organized stakeholder consultation workshop to finalise the GreenTAG 2+1 years Coaching Programme for SMEs especially on training modules and other relevant existing programme e.g National Standard Compliance Programme
