The new IMARK module: DIGITIZATION AND DIGITAL LIBRARIES Ildikó Pócza Information Resources Clerk FAO SEUR

Information Management Resource Kit (IMARK) The goal of the IMARK initiative is to mobilize and build upon existing resources to create a comprehensive suite of distance learning resources for information management and exchange. IMARK will support agencies, institutions and networks world-wide, and to allow them to work together and share information more effectively within a virtual community of practice.

IMARK MODULES Each IMARK module focuses on a specific area of information management, with a curriculum designed, developed and reviewed by subject matter experts. The modules are being developed using the latest methods in e-learning, providing an interactive environment for self-paced learning.

IMARK SUBJECT AREAS Management of Electronic Documents Investing in Agricultural Information Building Electronic Communities and Networks Digitization and Digital Libraries
