Sun n Is a star n Large ball of glowing gases n Extremely hot n Doesn’t have a rocky surface n Atmosphere glows and gives off light n Located at the center of the solar system n Earth and other planets revolve around it

Moon n The natural satellite that orbits the Earth n Has a rocky, dusty surface with many craters and no water n Has no atmosphere

More about the Moon... n The moon reflects light from the Sun. IT DOES NOT PRODUCE ITS OWN LIGHT! n Just like the Earth, half of the moon is always lit by the Sun. n The changes in the Moon’s phases from new Moon to new Moon takes about 29 1/2 days.
