Creating a Quality Club Why? What? How?

Why creating a “Quality Club” ?

Toastmasters’ Brand – Where Leaders are Made I wasn’t born a leader. I committed myself to becoming one. I found that place. I am a leader — and I was made.

Toastmasters’ Club Mission We provide a supportive and positive learning experience in which members are empowered to develop communication and leadership skills, resulting in greater self-confidence and personal growth.

What is a “Quality Club”? DCP = Distinguished Club Program (scale, ruler)

DCP Analysis (10 goals) Education (6 goals) Membership (2 goals) Training (1 goal) Administration (1 goal) Extra criteria ~~ Membership : (1) 20 on 6/30 (term end), or (2) Net Growth 5 (term end minus term beginning)

Distinguished Club Program Goals 2 CCs 1 AC (ACB, ACS or ACG) 1 CL, (or ALB, ALS or DTM) Education 4 new members Membership 9. At least 4 club officers trained in 2 club officer trainings Training 10. a) On-time payment of membership dues at least eight members (at least three renewing members) for 2 times (before 9/30 & 3/31). b) on-time submission of club officer list (before 6/30) Administration

Fellowship, Variety, and Communication Guests greeted warmly Enjoyable, educational meetings Regularly-scheduled social events Participation in area, district, and International events Inter-club events Club newsletter and/or website – updated regularly
