Calculus Honors August 19 th Introductions Student Interest Inventory Course Syllabus/Classroom Procedures Issue Books “Class Quilt” Activity – Students will create a class quilt by each creating a square that contains their name, 3 descriptive characteristics, favorite subject, favorite teacher, one word that describes how they feel about math, and plans for after high school. Students will understand what calculus is and how it compares with pre-calculus. Homework – Go to my website and respond to the question on the Calculus Honors page.

Calculus Honors August 20 th Students will complete their daily warm-up problems. Students will understand that the tangent line problem is basic to calculus. Homework – Page 47, numbers 6 & 7, parts b and c.
