“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16, NKJV)

1. The Infinite One

“‘Can anyone hide himself in secret places, so I shall not see him?’ says the Lord; ‘Do I not fill heaven and earth?’ says the Lord.” (Jeremiah 23:24, NKJV)

“Lord, You have been our dwelling place in all generations. Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever You had formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God.” (Psalm 90:1-2, NKJV)

2. The Loving One

“Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.” (1 John 4:7-8, NKJV)

“…‘The Lord God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abounding in goodness and truth, keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin…’” (Exodus 34:6-7 NKJV)

3. The Holy One

“Who is like You, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like You, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?” (Exodus 15:11, NKJV)

1. He is Unique “…sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and the train of His robe filled the temple. Above it stood seraphim…and one cried to another and said: ‘Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of His glory!’” (Isaiah 6:1-4, NKJV)

2. He is absolutely Pure “Let no one say when he is tempted, ‘I am tempted by God’; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone.” (James 1:13, NKJV)

2. He is absolutely Pure “For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world.” (1 John 2:16, NKJV)

4. The Just One

“keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children and the children's children to the third and the fourth generation.” (Exodus 34:7, NKJV)

“In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.” (1 John 4:9, NKJV)

1. Love is Active “The Lord is…not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.” (2 Peter 3:9, NKJV)

2. Love is Sacrificial “(Jesus) made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men.” (Philippians 2:7, NKJV)

3. Love is Universal “…whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16, NKJV)

3. Love is Universal “…let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.” (Revelation 22:17 NKJV)

4. Love is Gracious “not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,” (Titus 3:5, NKJV)
