GLORIFY GOD: GLORY OF GOD WHAT IS THE GLORY OF GOD? EXODUS 33:18, 19 And he said, I beseech thee, show me thy glory. And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show mercy on whom I will show mercy.
EXODUS 34:6, 7 And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth, Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear [the guilty]; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth [generation].
GLORIFY GOD: SALVATION & RADIANT LIGHT PSALMS 85:9 Surely his salvation [is] nigh them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land. EXODUS 34:29 And it came to pass, when Moses came down from mount Sinai with the two tables of testimony in Moses' hand, when he came down from the mount, that Moses wist not that the skin of his face shone while he talked with him.
GLORIFY GOD: PRESENCE & CREATION EXODUS 33:11 And the LORD spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend…. PSALMS 19:1 The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament showeth his handiwork.
PERSONS: GLORIFY GOD NUMBERS 12:3 (Moses: Meekest of men) EXODUS 2:11, 12 And it came to pass in those days, when Moses was grown, that he went out unto his brethren, and looked on their burdens: and he spied an Egyptian smiting an Hebrew, one of his brethren. And he looked this way and that way, and when he saw that [there was] no man, he slew the Egyptian, and hid him in the sand.
JESUS GLORIFY GOD: HUMAN FLESH JOHN 1:14, 18 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.
MANIFESTATIONS: HOW DID JESUS GLORIY GOD? 2 CORINTHIANS 4:6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to [give] the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. JOHN 2:11 This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him.
JESUS WILL GLORIFY GOD: RESURRECTION OF THE DEAD IN CHRIST JOHN 11:4, 40 [LAZARUS] When Jesus heard [that], he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby. Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?
GLORIFY GOD: HOLY SPIRIT ACTS 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. JOHN 17:22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one. JOHN 12:23 And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified.
GLORIFY GOD: UNTOUCHABLE JOHN 8:20 These words spake Jesus in the treasury, as he taught in the temple: and no man laid hands on him; for his hour was not yet come.
HOW SHOULD CHRISTIANS GLORIFY GOD IN THEIR EVERY DAY LIVES? ISAIAH 58:6-8 To loose the bands of wickedness To alleviate heavy burdens To be a voice for the oppressed ones To break every yoke of bondage To give bread to the hungry To care for the poor To clothe those who are naked
Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the LORD shall be thy rereward.
GLORIFY GOD: PHYSICAL & SPIRITUAL 1 CORINTHIANS 6:19, 20 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost [which is] in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's. 1 CORINTHIANS 10:31 Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God. 2 CORINTHIANS 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, [even] as by the Spirit of the Lord.
