The World Political Political maps show how people have divided places on the Earth into countries, states, cities and other units for the purpose of governing them. A political map often uses colors to show the boundaries between states or countries.

The World Physical Physical maps show what the surface of the Earth looks like. A map showing Mountains, Lakes, Plateau and River ( Natural Features)
Types of borders of countries: Natural borders like, River, Mountain ranges and Sea Some times borders decided by people.
Natural borders countries: River as a border: USA and Mexico by the Rio Grande. Romania and Bulgaria by the Danube Thailand and Laos by the Mekong. Mountain as a border: France and Spain by the Pyrenees France and Italy by the Alps. Sea as a border: Sri Lanka, Maldives, Madagascar, Indonesia and Jamaica.

Borders changed: consensus, war and conflict between nations in the past. The borders of some countries are still under dispute, and so fighting and conflict continue.
