Putting it all together Hi. Mary This spring, I decided to do something that is fun, exciting, and extremely rewarding. I am doing a 24-hour relay to raise money for the American Cancer Society. On June 26-27, my team and I will be on the track of the UCSD campus, walking running, and hobbling for 24-hours straight and I want YOU to be part of it. You can be part of this great cause. Perhaps the easiest way is to help in my fund-raising effort. I set a very ambition goal this year, and hope to raise $5,000. If you would like to help me meet that goal, just go to my Relay for Life web site at I am doing the Relay for Life this year because of Aunt Martha, who lost her battle with cancer last year. I am raising money in her honor and to to support cancer research so that we can help eliminate this awful disease. I am doing the Relay for Life this year because of my friend Bill Smith, who was recently diagnosed with kidney cancer. I am raising money to support him and to support cancer research so that we can help eliminate this awful disease, I am fighting my own battle with cancer again this year, and while I am in remission I know that the fight isn’t over. Raising money for cancer research makes me feel like I have some control over my disease. The money I raise will help eliminate this terrible disease. Join me in this battle against cancer! You can join the Relay for Life as one of my teammates, you can form your own team, or you can help me raise money for the American Cancer Society. Please visit my web site and join the fight!
