Lesson Planning

 The aim of the lesson  What new content in the lesson contains  The main stages of the lesson  What to do at each stage

 Aim = Generally thought to include the lesson as a whole Broadly focus on what teachers plan to do Students’ achievements

 He is not thinking of the aim of the lesson at all A lesson in the book that has to be taught

 She has thought about what content is being taught in the lesson

 She has the clearest idea of the aim of the lesson. Not only what content she will teach Also what students will learn to do in the lesson

 An aim is a general statement of intent. It describes the direction in which the learner will go in terms of what they might learn or what the teacher/training will deliver.  An objective is a more specific statement about what the learner should or will be able to do after the training experience.
