Our response – guiding principles for this year 1. Embrace God’s plans – Rom.12:1,2 2. Live in the reality of being “In Christ” - free from the penalty & prison of sin - having the resurrection life of Jesus 3. “Be filled with the Spirit” – be eager to know his empowering, guiding,teaching

3 examples for us:- a. Paul – passionate to know Jesus b. Shadrach, Meshach & Abednego – total trust in God’s providence. God is really in charge c. David – all the resources he needed are found in God
