Vitamin C By Tyler Paterson

Why We Need It Humans cannot produce their own source of vitamin C so we have to obtain it through our own diet. Vitamin C prevents the disease of scurvy, which is characterized by lack of energy, tooth decay, gum inflammation, weakened capillary walls, bleeding problems, poor wound healing, easy bruising, appetite loss, pain in the joints, and muscle wasting.

What if we don’t have enough Vitamin C Vitamin deficiencies tends to grow over time, so the first signs may be hardly noticeable. A lack of Vitamin C can lead to tiredness, weakness, sore muscles and bleeding gums. Having lots of vitamin C will help when you become ill, it will shorten your illness time and make you healthier.

Foods With Vitamin C Examples: Oranges, Sweet red bell peppers, Parsley, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Strawberries, Mustard greens, Papaya, Grapefruit, Kiwi, Cantaloupe, Cabbage, Tomatoes, Raspberries, Celery, Spinach Pineapple, Watermelon, Tangerines, Limes, Cranberries, Guava, and many more.
