Dimensions – households The first dimension of the research and the questionnaire directed to the „households”. The first question block was about the composition of the households The gender and age of the people living in households. The financial, income situation of the households The structure of the expenditures 2

Dimensions – location, transport and migration The next dimension of the research and the questionnaire is location, transport and migration The components of the satisfaction and identification with the settlement The crisis of the earlier form of the public transport 3

Dimensions – the supply systems The supply systems primarily mean the family and neighbouring networks Hungarian society has an „underdeveloped bourgeois status” („underbourgeoised”, there are not enough middle class citizens in Hungary 4

Dimensions - ICT In the research of the Finnish partner the usage of the informational network had an important role The usage of ICT is significantly different from the Finnish ones. 5

Dimensions - social and health services This dimension is suitable for measuring how much the different services are known, not only the frequency of its usage and the satisfaction with it have been measured The provision of the public goods 6

Dimensions - operation of the associations The next dimension of the questionnaire meant the operation of the associations, which is one of the important elements of the research of the Finnish partner The middle class is missing in Hungary - civil society is weak 7

Dimensions - recent life situation and the ethnic affiliation The closing block of the questionnaire deals with the recent life situation and the ethnic affiliation of the interviewees The classification question „who is considered to be Roma” 8

The principles of sample selection In the research performed in the Northern Great Plain Region sample consisting of 1000 „households” was planned The multi-stage sample taking process For the sample selection two times as many additional addresses were used as the number of the people was who were involved into the sample 9
