How to Share Your Learning Type your “share” in the body of an original work only ≈ 250 words Photo must be included as an attachment Photo credit must be included

Photos & Images You may NOT use images, photos, artwork, etc. that are copyright protected and/or owned by an individual or corporation You can use images that are in the public domain or carry a Creative Commons license.

Copyright Protection Items with copyright protection may not be copied or used without permission (images, photos, artwork, films, music, books, etc.) only the owner has the right to copy Must request permission from the creator or copyright holder to use the image An item can be protected by copyright even if it doesn’t have the © symbol Want to be a copyright expert?

Creative Commons Legal copyright licenses for creators who are willing to share their works with others, but with some restrictions or requirements Allow items to be shared and re-used according to the creator’s guidelines Permission does not have to be requested since the creator establishes guidelines up front
