If we hold the spoon is longer, hand we will felt hot, why can so ? Because there are heat making a move from spoon to our hand

After learning this chapter, you are expected to be able to : * Explain the definition of heat * as well as distinguish the phenomena of heat transfer and their application in everyday life

If you dip a hot iron into a glass of cold water, few minutes later the water’s temperature will increase, while the iron’s temperature will decrease. Why does such a thing happend?

It happenes because there is an energy transfer from the iron (hotter object) to the water (colder object) which called heat. Therby, heat is a form of energy trasferred from the hotter object to the colder one.

Convection or heat flow is the transfer of heat by particles motion due to density difference.

If the temperature of water increases, then its density decreases. Hotter water with a less density moves upward.

Water is heated it expands so that its density decreases. Because of its density decreases, the water moves up. Place is replaced by water temperature lower, moving down because of greater density. Movement or flow of water that was clear when placed in water dyes.

Convection on gas occurs when hotter air goes up and colder water goes down. For example : the happening of sea breeze and land breeze

When a candle lit in the box, then the air around the candle to heat that rises through the chimney, place is replaced by cold air coming in through the other chimney. Situation continues occurred, causing the air flow

The smoke of burning has a high temperature. Because of the high temperature, then smoke it expands. When it expands, increasing the volume of smoke (smoke mass does not change, that change only the volume only). Increased volume density of smoke making less. As a result of the smoke rolled into the top....

Explains why breezes come from the ocean in the day and from the land at night
