Who Then Can Be Saved? Matthew 19:23-30

Kingdoms of men open to the rich –Some think they are something because they are rich; others think they are nothing because they lack riches –Both are making the same mistake Who Then Can Be Saved?

Some things men can't do – Matthew 19:26 cf. Matthew 19:24 – Can't make one a citizen of kingdom of God Suppose YOU could not be? – Would you be upset? – Just as bad (even worse) NOT to be saved when you could be! Who Then Can Be Saved?

Only Those Who Are Lost – 1 st Requirement to being saved – Acts 11:14; Romans 10:1 Riches or wisdom of men won't save – 1 Corinthians 1:21 – Romans 1:16 Who Then Can Be Saved?

Those who call on name of the Lord – Joel 2:32; Acts 2:21; Romans 10:13 – Matthew 7:21; 14:30 Call on someone for that which we cannot do for ourselves Our calling on Him shows our inability and our faith in His ability Who Then Can Be Saved?

YOU and I Can be Saved! BUT – Can be lost God wants ALL to be saved – 1 Timothy 2:3,4; 2 Peter 3:9 Are you thankful you CAN be? Will you be? – Acts 22:16 Who Then Can Be Saved?

What Must I Do To Be Saved?  Hear the gospel (Romans 10:17)  Believe Jesus is Christ (Acts 8:37)  Repent of your sins (Acts 17:30)  Confess your faith (Matthew 10:32)  Baptized for remission of sins (Acts 2:38)  Faithful unto death (Revelation 2:10)
