2. He Had Sincere Concern   Nehemiah 1:1-4   Contrast this with attitude of Israel in days of Amos – Amos 6:1-6   Lamentations 1:12   So many today show no concern for the Lord or His church

3. He Had Confidence In His Cause   Nehemiah 2:17-20   Contrast this with attitude of Israel when coming out of Egypt – Exodus 16:2, 3   Philippians 4:4-7, 13   Source of such confidence   Romans 1:16   1 Corinthians 15:58

4. He Prepared For The Task   Nehemiah 4:6; 15-23   Were ready to defend as well as build   Many today will not defend the truth   We must build but we must also defend   Philippians 1:16   Can’t preach the truth and “leave others alone”

5. He Refused To Compromise   Nehemiah 6:1-13 (note v. 11)   Galatians 2:4,5   2 Timothy 4:1-5 Nehemiah’s spirit was one of great faith, devotion and determination Let us strive to imitate such in our lives

6. What Must I Do To Be Saved?   Hear the gospel (Romans 10:17)   Believe Jesus is Christ (Acts 8:37)   Repent of your sins (Acts 17:30)   Confess your faith (Matthew 10:32)   Baptized for remission of sins (Acts 2:38)   Faithful unto death (Revelation 2:10)
