 Content Area: Physical Education  Grade Level: 1-5  Summary: The purpose of this instructional PowerPoint is to teach students the basic equipment to some popular sports.  Learning Objective: To make sure students understand which equipment goes with which sport.  Content Standard: Sports Equipment  Accomplishment: To make student familiar with sport equipment and what is necessary to play the sport. PowerPoint Purpose

Sports  Basketball-Basic Equipment- Jerseys, shorts, shoes, basketball, basketball court with two basketball goals  Football-Basic Equipment- Jerseys, football pants, shoulder pads, thigh pads, knee pads, tailbone bone, hip pads, helmet, mouth guard, football cleats (no metal spikes), football, football field with goal posts.  Baseball-Basic Equipment- Jerseys, baseball pants, baseball cleats (metal spikes are allowed), bat, baseball, 4 bases on a baseball field, baseball glove.  Soccer-Basic Equipment- Soccer ball, shin guards, Soccer field with two goals, soccer cleats. (no metal spikes allowed.) Jerseys, shorts.
