What is an ultrasonic dispersal device or Mosquito? Mosquitos are used to try and stop anti-social behaviour The device works by making a high pitched ringing sound which only under 25 year olds can hear. It affects babies and toddlers as well.

How does it work As you get older your hearing gets worse and you can no longer hear high pitched noises like the sound the mosquito device makes

Who uses them? Shops, Local Authorities, the Police & lots of other Businesses So far around 3,500 have been sold in this country

What we think is wrong with them They affect all children and young people, even babies and toddlers. They don’t work. They only move the problem along They build barriers between younger and older people They force us to move away from places we feel safe in
