Question 1 Rudolf’s stable is 10m wide and 12m long. What is the area of his stable?

Question 2 Santa has 200 elves working for him in his toy factory. 20% of them call in sick on Christmas eve. What is the number of elves that are sick?

Question 3 On Christmas day, a little girl finds a small cuboid shaped present under the tree. It is 6cm long, 3cm wide and 3cm high. What is the volume of her present?

Question 4 On Christmas day my mum makes 160 little sausages wrapped in bacon. I eat 3 quarters of them, how many do I eat? 3434

Question 5 Santa visits a house where 48 carrots have been left on the doorstep for his reindeer. There are 12 reindeer, so how many carrots will each reindeer get?

3. On Christmas day, a little girl finds a small cuboid shaped present under the tree. It is 6cm long, 3cm wide and 3cm high. What is the volume of her present? Volume = l x w x h Volume = 6 x 3 x 3 Volume = 54cm³

4. On Christmas day my mum makes 160 little sausages wrapped in bacon. I eat 3 quarters of them, how many do I eat? ¼ of 160 = 40 (160 ÷ 4) ¾ of 160 = 120 (40 x 3)
