Itacuruça (Brazil), E2GRIS1, – gRREEMM – The Beginings 5 Sun-Tools From the beginning of this year we come developing an application that allows the monitoring, evaluation and simulation of all the operations that take place in different solar equipments under various working conditions. Sun-Soft DB

Itacuruça (Brazil), E2GRIS1, – gRREEMM – The Beginings 6 Sun-Tools main disadvantages. Databases The proposed DB design didn't provide any concurrence and persistence. Do not provide any information about the experiments. Do not be guaranteed continuity of the experiments. Software All calculations were performed on the same web application, making slow the process of obtaining results. There was no mechanism to catalog the data input/output in the system. The access to the configuration of the experiments was made toward a single person interacting directly with the DataTaker-datalogger software. Web site All calculations were performed on the same web application, making slow the process of obtaining results. No security, no data privacy.

Itacuruça (Brazil), E2GRIS1, – gRREEMM - Beginings 7 Solutions

Itacuruça (Brazil), E2GRIS1, – gRREEMM - Concepts 8 gRREEMM (Remote Renewable Energy Equipments Measurements and Modelation) has as its main objective the measurements of multiple solar equipment situated in different locations to remotely perform the monitoring and the operation of all process. Starting from the real obtained data of these measurements, it is sought to evaluate the behavior of the equipments under different use and climatic conditions, as well to simulate and to model the behavior of the phenomena and/or processes that happens in them.

Itacuruça (Brazil), E2GRIS1, – gRREEMM - Captor 9 This module is responsible for the capture of all data that are read by the sensors. In the same one is also configured and programmed the reading of the data files and its later backup in a DB.

Itacuruça (Brazil), E2GRIS1, – gRREEMM - Captor 10 Captor Operation Modes Operation as Evaluation Experimental Station: The measured data are in direct correspondence with one or more experiments to carry out. For these experiments are configured all the needed information and starting the execution of the second module in any of its operation modes. The exits of the experiments can be obtained after running gRREEMM-Proc (Module 2) in the grid. Operation as Meteorological Station: In this working mode the system collects data from the environmental variables that are desired and will be processed almost constantly in real time.

Itacuruça (Brazil), E2GRIS1, – This module is responsible for all the calculations for each of the possible cases: solar equipment and experiments. Their outputs are in reliance on used sub-modules. This module also provides entry to other programs for possible simulation and modeling of processes. It is hoped that runs entirely on the GRID, running on a Worker Node. gRREEMM - Proc

Itacuruça (Brazil), E2GRIS1, – gRREEMM - Proc 12 Proc Operation Modes Permanent Operation: The software stays carrying out all the calculations and basic evaluations to obtain the corresponding outputs to the statistical analyses of the data packages for each measuring station. In this mode are obtained small data packages but more frequently than the other modes, resulting in a large volume of information. Only perform the simulations and calculations of the environmental parameters surrounding the measuring station. Scheduled Operation: Every some significant pre-configured period of time (one hour, one day, one week, one month or one year), the software will make an assessment of performance at experiments that wish to provide partial outputs for the evaluation periods. In addition will be carried out every time interval the basics evaluation for each measuring station. Operation on Demand: The software responds to the orders of execution for each type of experiment. The configuration of how the software will be executed will be determined strictly by the task sent by the user and its corresponding data packages.

Itacuruça (Brazil), E2GRIS1, – gRREEMM - WUI 13 This module has the functionality to provide a visual tool for researchers to access the experiments and grid resources. Have been devised several sub-modules for resource management, experiments configuration and general system management.

Itacuruça (Brazil), E2GRIS1, – gRREEMM – E2GRIS-1 Work 14 The fundamental task in E2GRIS-1 will be to work in the second and third gRREEMM modules, as well as in the setting of the first module to work over a grid environment. GRID
