What is Stress?? The body and minds reaction to every day demands or threats What types of things cause teen stress???

Two Types of Stress  Distress (negative stress) Caused by too much pressure/trauma and you don’t know how to cope with it Caused by too much pressure/trauma and you don’t know how to cope with it (ex.) too much homework, catching a bus when you are late (ex.) too much homework, catching a bus when you are late  Eustress (positive stress) Can help to achieve your goals (ex.) if you are concerned about your final grade and you study harder
