CROWN Project  Project of 15 homes in three different cities  Came about through a collaborative effort

Process  First application to NIFA in September 2006 was unsuccessful  Developer and DAD Housing committee persisted  By November 2009 all 15 homes occupied  Some locations have a waiting list

Innovative Points  Applicant for FIT funds (trust funds) was Dawson County  Their willingness to be overall applicant made homes possible in Lexington, Cozad, and Gothenburg  Different approach for CROWN project required cooperation from many entities and people
