Follow up to “Appreciative Inquiry Process”

 To improve school retention rates  To upgrade the quality of teachers  Capacity building for education personnel at all levels  Research, monitoring and assessment of education programs  To expand second chance education: TEMIS, SSA/SIP nation-wide

 To assist technical support for formulation of education policy and sector review  To form as a coordination body to link government, NGOs, INGOs and development partners  To support the implementation of government education policy (CPE, English teacher proficiency, computers, improvement of school infrastructure)  To undertake education research, studies, survey to obtain evidence-based data and information  To establish data and information network system to support MOE+MOSWRR.

 ETWG as a coordinating body to collect data and have database, mapping of who is doing what  To find out gaps and needs  Explore strategic plan to see if it is in line with government long term plan and convince donors  ETWG as an information sharing center (from all parties) MDG/EFA reports  Sharing of evidence based practices/success stories and technical expertise in a plural voice

 Involve ETWG in NPA process  Identify priorities and advocate (Government and donors)
