1. National level Objective:
To build capacity as regards the design and implementation of ICT statistical compilation programmes
Activities:
1. Develop and test training materials on definitions, methodology and survey vehicles
2. Conduct training workshops
3. Assist NSOs in ICT data collection and database development
2. Conduct training workshops for:
local staff involved in the collection of ICT indicators
policy makers to raise their awareness about the importance of indicators for monitoring ICT policies and carrying out impact analysis

2. Regional level Objectives:
To build capacity as regards methodologies and definitions of ICT indicators, to ensure the harmonisation of ICT data and statistics across countries of the region
To build regional statistical networks for ICT indicators
Activities:
1. Establish technical working groups on ICT indicators
2. Conduct technical workshops at the regional level to exchange experience and discuss methodologies, definitions, survey vehicles and data collection
