Deity: Zeus Greek Name: Zeus Roman Name: Jupiter, Jove Parentage: Kronos and Rhea Sphere of Influence: Main God of Greek and Rome, and king of the Gods. He was also the god of sky and weather, law, order, and fate. Attributes: A lightning bolt, royal scepter, and eagle. Birthplace: Diktaion Cave on the island of Crete. Place Favored: Greece and Rome

This picture is one that exemplifies Zeus’s almighty power. It shows his omnipotent strength and power over all the Gods using his lightning bolt and his eagle. This particular image spoke to me because it clearly displays Zeus’s attributes. I chose this image because it was very accurate when it comes to this god’s demeanor. This image obviously shows Zeus’s characteristics toward life and the other gods. Ancient Art: Pre-476 A.D.

This picture is one that shows Zeus’s immense power that achieves greatness. It displays his all-powerful strength and capability. This particular image spoke to me because it clearly recognizes Zeus’s behavior toward the human race and the other gods. I chose this image because it was out of the ordinary since it manifestly displays Zeus himself. This image is one that truly exhibits this god’s demeanor and skills. Modern Art: Post-1400 A.D.

Also, the god of death and the dead, and of the hidden wealth of the world. Attributes: A dark-bearded man, crown, scepter, key Birthplace: He was born on the island of Crete, and soon was devoured by his father, Kronos. Place Favored: The Underworld

This particular image of Hades displays his supreme power of the Underworld. It shows him sitting on his throne as king of his land. This particular picture spoke to me because it foretells the story of Hades, and his ruling of the Underworld. I chose this image because it truly demonstrates Hades’s attributes—crown, scepter, ruler, and dark beard. This specific masterpiece acutely shows Hades as King of the Underworld. Ancient Art: Pre-476 A.D.

This distinct picture exemplifies Hades’s all- powerful strength on his dog Cerberus. It displays his Supreme Being of physique. His dog Cerberus too, is quite a powerhouse. This image spoke to me because his shows Hades’s and Cerberus’s flare of intensity over the Underworld. I shows this noteworthy image because it exerts the fact that Hades is the Supreme Ruler of the Underworld. This picture precisely shows his being, and Cerberus’s as well. Modern Art: Post-1400 A.D.

Attributes: Mature man of sturdy build, dark beard, and trident. Birthplace: He was born on the island of Crete, and soon was devoured by his father, Kronos. Place Favored: The Sea.

This specific image describes Poseidon’s almighty power over the sea. With his trident and his trusty hippo- campi, he strides over the sea as the onlooker. This picture spoke to me because it honestly displays the true behavior of the sea god. Therefore, I chose this image because of its ability to recognize this. Lastly, it is astounding how this particular image grazed so close to the demeanor of Poseidon which is almighty power over the sea. Ancient Art: Pre-476 A.D.

This distinct image of Poseidon shows him in his element which is as King of the Sea. He is grasping his trident to show that he is omnipotent over this sea of greatness. This particular picture spoke to me because it displays his supreme power over the sea. Consequently, I chose this image because it resembles Poseidon’s true aptitude. Finally, this picture is one that demonstrates the Sea God’s true power over this body of water, and him in his element. Modern Art: Post-1400 A.D.

Attributes: The flowered branch, a kettle, and her being veiled Birthplace: She was born on the island of Crete, and soon was devoured by her father, Kronos Place favored: Home

This picture of Hestia resembles her holding the flowered branch. This image spoke to me because it demonstrates the true attributes of Hestia. I chose this picture because I thought it displays her intimacy toward the other gods. It also shows her projecting her demeanor. Lastly, this picture is one that displays Hestia’s attributes, one of which is the flowered branch. Ancient Art: Pre-476 A.D.

This image of Hestia establishes the true behavior of this goddess. As the goddess of home and the hearth; she is demonstrating these attributes which differentiate her from the other gods. This picture spoke to me because it displays her keeping up the flame. I chose this picture because it shows her actual demeanor. This image is one that truly demonstrates the goddess’s behavior as well as her actions. Modern Art: Post-1400 A.D.

Deity: Hera Greek Name: Hera Roman Name: Juno Parentage: Kronos and Rhea Sphere of Influence: Olympian Queen of the Gods, goddess of women, marriage, sky, and the starry heavens. Attributes: Depicted as a beautiful woman, crown, royal lotus-tipped staff, and peacock. Birthplace: Born on the island of Samos or Argos otherwise varied throughout Greece. Place Favored: None.

This particular image of Hera superbly shows her attributes. This picture shows her with her crown and her lotus-tipped staff. It spoke to me because it phenomenally displays her attributes. Subsequently, I chose this picture because it really truly characterizes her as the Queen of the Gods. Finally, this image is one that honestly shows traits about Hera, and ones that are very accurately there. Ancient Art: Pre-476 A.D.

This picture of Hestia demonstrates both her attributes as well as her behavior. It shows her with peacock feathers which is one of her many attributes. This picture spoke to me because it truly shows her motherliness as Queen of the Gods. I chose this image it establishes the thought that she is like a mother. This image is one that not only displays her interesting behavior, but her attributes as well. Modern Art: Post-1400 A.D.
