What does your Marketing Function aim to do? Market Function is account indicate the function performed through the outflow of funds. The market function strategy of Astra Zeneca is to try to combine strong research and development with effective sales and marketing activities to successfully help other peoples needs.

How does Market Analysis help to meet the aims of the marketing function? You market analysis helps to meet your marketing function because they work together hand and hand. The market analysis is the study designed to define a company's current or potential markets, forecast their directions, decide how to expand the company's share and exploit any new trends. This is all important information when choosing or reviewing certain important business questions or decisions.

What would you classify the company’s Market Position to be? Astra Zeneca’s market position is to have global appeal with their products and to help as many people as they can as much as they can. They come out with new medicine more often then the competition does thanks to a superior research and development department.

Key Marketing Objectives The key marketing objective of Astra Zeneca is to target as many people as possible worldwide that need the help of their top of the line products.

Does the Marketing Strategy adopted by your company appear to help them to meet these objectives? Yes, It helps them by getting the information on medicine/ medicine that the client needs to them. It has worked for them since they have some of the top selling products on the market.

What are the main Market Segments the company appears to be aiming at? Astra Zeneca aims at various market segments. The most popular are older Americans. They serve anyone that needs the medication that they supply at Astra Zeneca. As long as you can afford the medication we can supply you for your needs.

What type of Market Structure does the company operate within? How do you think that might affect their marketing strategies?. The most popular market structure are old, white, men or women, with a high income and education. It shows Astra Zeneca what market they should target to sell more products.

What are the Marketing Implications of this information for the company? They can have commercials that appeal to the people that buy the products. By using the market strategy they can find different ways to boost sales based on who by the product the most. This is a popular method of advertisement and works very well.
