Marcus Pitts Arch 4341 Fall 2011

 The concept I had was to create a scene that had a compelling landscape from multiple angles.  The feel of the house was to be modern, stylish, and open.

 Elements from these images were further analyzed and designed to manifest the final product.

 Electric Grass

Materials\Textures\ Bumps\Displacements GLASS There were two types of glass in my composition. The inside guardrails have a glass panel in each segment that is frosted or acid glass. All other windows and openings consist of regular glass materials.

Materials\Textures\ Bumps\Displacements METALS Some spaces required different types of metals to be applied. The elevator was a lighter material as the curtain wall received a darker tint.

Materials\Textures\ Bumps\Displacements Lighting Fixtures The chandelier needed its own custom material like some other elements, but the outside lights did not need to distract from the scene so their surface was made simple.

Materials\Textures\ Bumps\Displacements Ceiling, Floor, and Walls Each of these components had a diffused map as well as a bump map to add more depth to the scene. The stone wall needed a displacement to create the rough edge effect.

Materials\Textures\ Bumps\Displacements Entourage A few elements were added to make the scene feel ‘lived in’. Which is a good idea since it is the living room of the house.

Materials\Textures\ Bumps\Displacements Entourage continued Patio and wood handle railing materials
