Persuasive Writing Project The Power of Words

Pictures Bring Out Emotions

Pictures Make You Feel

“If I could speak, what would I say?”

“You will be my voice.”

“Make someone care;help me, please.”

Words Have Power. Use them. Help the Porter County Animal Shelter. Make a difference.

SHOW ME THAT YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE. Research Porter County Animal Shelter website for facts Visit Shelter if parents will allow for a tour or to volunteer Make a list of supplies shelter is needing for animals Find three companies and bring into class that would supply needed materials ( Nutro Dog Food) Write a persuasive letter to company asking for donations sent to our classroom If you are persuasive enough to show that “words have power” and a donation is mailed to us at school with your name on it, whatever grade I have given you for your project will be changed to an A+
