 Open Muvizu  Select Your Scene: City  Fire station Firestation – Column 1 Row 2 City

 Background will Appear  Be Aware of Camera  Only What Appears in Camera Shot will be in Movie  You can add Additional Cameras for Multiple Views Camera Shot

 Create  Character  Select One Character  Click the Create Button Add

 Character dropped into Scene  Check Camera View (may or may not be visible)

 Move the Character where you want them  Most likely, in the camera view  Hold Left Mouse Key to Move  Hold Both Mice Keys to Move and Lift  Hold Right Mouse key to Rotate

 Right Click on Character to View Properties  Click on Options to Make Changes:  Hat  Hair  Face  Neck  Shoulders  Arms  Top  Chest  Back  Waist  Tail  Legs  Feet  Click X to Close when done

 Create Menu:  Characters  Objects  Backdrops  Effects  Lighting Options Scene Options

 Prepare  Set up Type of Animation to Use  Direct  Animating the Characters  Timeline  Allows tweaking of Animation  Create the Video –.avi file  Upload the Video (as necessary)

 Prepare  Character Actions  Mood Based Gestures  Click on Animation Page 1  Click on Animation  Column 1  Row 1  Select a Desired Animation for your character  Based on Mood and Level  Will Demonstrate  Click OK to Select  Select as many Animations as You need for this character  one per box – 3 pages available

 Add Movement and Animation  Animate in Passes – Each type of movement/animation is done separately  Animation  Movement  Head  Eyes  Dialog (not doing today)  Sound Effects  Properties (Colors, etc.)

 Timeline Recorder  Start Recording Movie  Click on Selected Character Actions  Timeline will fill with the selected actions  Click Stop when Finished Record Stop

 Record  Continue Recording  Go to Beginning of Timeline  Go Back to a Marker  Play (view your movie so far)  Go Forward to a Marker  Go to the End of the Timeline

 Be Sure to Return to the BEGINNING of Timeline  Click Record  Direct Next Step:  Head  Move black ball with mouse for head movement Record

 Animate in Passes  Direct  Eyes  Movement  Keep an eye on Camera View  Dialog (we are not doing)  Sound Effects  Properties  Be Sure to Review to the Beginning of the Timeline for each Animation Pass

 Each Animation Pass creates a Timeline  Tools  Timeline Editor  Easily Move or Delete Any of the Animations or Passes

 Can Add Multiple Cameras  Each Camera can be moved around for different views:  Close Ups  Landscapes  Single Characters  Group Shots  Camera Cuts allows you to direct which camera shot to use throughout timeline

 Video Menu  Make Video  Creates a.avi file  Once made can Upload to YouTube
