Why six words? A six word memoir is a piece of wisdom, or a snippet of one’s life, offered in only six words.
Where did this idea come from? Once asked to write a full story in six words, legend has it that novelist Ernest Hemingway responded: "For sale: baby shoes, never worn.“ He later claimed it was his best work. What do you think Hemingway is trying to say in his memoir?
