FOOD AND HEALTHY DIET In Task One you should speak on your own about a healthy diet and healthy lifestyle. The following ideas may help you: What to eat? What not to eat? What to drink? What not to drink? Where to eat / to buy food?

Healthy lifestyle It involves a healthy diet, which is choosing what to eat and what to avoid, drinking little alcohol, not smoking, consuming lean meat – poultry and fish, eating lots of fruit and vegetables, giving preference to margarine and whole-wheat food, cutting down on sweets, fatty meat and food rich in calories, drinking sufficient amounts of mineral water and herbal tea. You are certainly on the right track if you sleep enough and you are in a good mood, never getting angry, doing something active in the fresh air on a regular basis, doing sports at least once a week and walking.

Vegetarians don´t eat meat, some of them eat poultry and fish. Vegans don´t eat any animal products at all, no eggs, no butter, no milk and no youghurt. However, people should eat a bit of everything and then it´s healthy. There are numerous ways to keep fit. Everyone will find that they need something special. Those who work in an office are advised to spend their free time doing sports. By contrast, those who move a lot in work prefer yoga as a physical exercise. Other possibilities how to keep fit include ball games, aerobics or fitness centres. All of these activities have their pros and contras, but they have one thing in common – you stretch your body and this makes you feel relaxed.
