Calverton

Did you know? Calverton means ‘where cows are reared. ’ Guess what Calverton is? Town – is bigger than a village but smaller than a city Village- houses in a rural community Hamlet – a small village Calverton is a hamlet did you guess right?

There is a very small amount of history in Calverton but a little part in a field there is a little brick hut and it was in the time of WWII and communicated to Bletchley park. What used to be the school is now a house and so is the bake house and some lovely people live there.

We have a pub in Calverton, it is called The Shoulder Of Mutton. You can eat and drink there.

In Calverton there is a church and it’s the All Saints Church. The bells ring every Sunday as churches usually do.

Post box There are two post boxes in Calverton and a village notice board. The notice board is next to one of them.

There are 197 people living in Calverton Wow 197 people in this hamlet approximately

People like living in Calverton because there are fields and trees. Lambs and sheep live in the fields and cute little squirrels in the trees. There are lots of paths to walk on and hardly any cars as it also is not crowded. Elegantly, pigeons, p heasants, crows and robins fly around.
