Research Paper Driving Question- What are some beliefs of Jehovah’s Witnesses and why do they offer free Bible studies? Thesis Statement- A person’s understanding can be enhanced by learning about some of the Bible truths believed by Jehovah’s Witnesses. Jehovah Witnesses offer free home Bible courses to show people these basic Bible truths. Interesting Facts-

My Product What did I do? For my product, I demonstrated the Bible ministry of Jehovah’s Witnesses. I talked to people about God’s purpose for the earth, and I discussed a variety of Bible topics. On one occasion I had a demonstration with a teenager girl.

Product continued How? When? When we talk to people at the doors we placed Bible magazines. They are called Watch Tower and Awake magazines.

My Mentor My mentor’s name is Nancy Weeks and she is a substitute teacher at New Bern High School. Because of her part time job this allows her to devote more time to talking to people about the Bible.

Connection between Paper and Product. This is a regular routine for Jehovah’s Witnesses. Jehovah’s Witnesses want to tell others about God’s Kingdom. What they talk about, is the same topic Jesus talked about when he was alive, God’s Kingdom. The scripture at Matthew 24:14 say that “this good news of the Kingdom will be preached to all the nations”.

Successes and Challenges Successes Challenges When I first started writing my paper I was ahead. My mentor and parents helped me write my paper. My teacher helped my organized and refine my thesis statement. I changed my topic last semester. I did not always use my time wisely. I had hard time putting my product together.

Future Plans I will continue to volunteer my time to help people understand the Bible. I will still support myself and have a stable job, but my main concern would be to volunteer in the Bible ministry.
